In Alaska’s scenic backcountry we will take you on a ride through breathtaking landscapes, across snowy meadows and icy lakes, and past majestic mountains.
Our expert local guides will lead you along the scenic mountain-side to a snowy backcountry paradise in which to explore and play. We’ll make stops so you can take in the incredible scenery of the mountains, meadows and lakes surrounding you and also for a chance to spot some of Alaska’s rare wildlife. Remember to bring your camera!

Half-day Snowmobile Adventure

Whether you call it a snowmobile or a snow machine, we call it a great way to spend a winter day.
Experience Alaska’s winter wilderness with your thumb on the throttle as your guide leads the way. You’ll travel the Susitna River Basin with Denali as the backdrop. Moose and sled dog teams are common on the trails and offer more spectacular photographic opportunities.
It is the perfect adventure to experience snowmobiling in Alaska! This tour is suitable for families, new riders and even experienced riders. We work with you to grow your skills and maximize your experience.

Dog Sledding & Snowmobile Tour

Are you looking for a little more adventure? Why not experience the best of winter in Alaska by hitting the trail by dog sled AND snowmobile.
This tour combines the best of both worlds! You’ll split your time on the trail between cruising the trail by snowmobile and dog team.
Everything you need for the perfect day is included in this tour including lunch at an Alaska lodge on the trail!

Iditarod Full-Day Snowmobile Tour

This is a beautiful ride to the Nelchina Glacier. We begin at Sheep Mountain Lodge and ride about 50 miles roundtrip. You will experience trail riding, riding on a river, and “playing” in the swamps if you so choose. At the glacier you will get to play in the snow, enjoy the scenery, and take some gorgeous pictures. As always you have the chance to see some wildlife (usually Moose, Bald Eagles, and Ptarmigan)
After a snack at the glacier we will head back to the Eureka or Long Rifle Lodge for some delicious food before heading back toward Palmer. (Dinner is included with this trip)
